Annual Lien Viet Daytrip
We went to Brighton on the 4 August for our Lien Viet day trip this year. We enjoyed marvellous dry and sunny weather on the day. This was a big improvement on the weather last year when we had a wet and windy trip to Southend.
Fifty participants, young and old had the opportunity to get to know each other and they had an enjoyable day out with their friends and families.
The trip was a great success. The feedback that we received in the satisfaction surveys that our participants completed were extremely positive.
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Tai for all the hard work that he put in to planning the Brighton trip.
Wills, Executors and ending your tenancy
Following the death of a tenant, only the executor (person given authority in the tenant’s will to deal with their affairs) can legally end a tenancy, by giving four weeks’ notice to ISHA.
If a tenant does not leave a will, their family members do not have the authority to end their tenancy. In this instance, the tenancy will run for some time until the notice is served by ISHA on the Public Trustee.
We would like to encourage all our tenants to leave a will specifying a family member to be their executor so that their affairs can be satisfactorily resolved in the event of their death.
