   Resident
Involvement
Our resident involvement program is evolving. Our Scrutiny Panel is planning on hosting four ‘Resident Action Forums’ over the next twelve months, giving every resident an opportunity to get involved in an area of their choice. Each forum will cover a one-day period, involving residents and representatives from ISHA.
The Resident Action Forum plan for the next 12 months is as follows:
Communication Journey, Repairs
Thursday, 17 October 2019
Voids Process,
getting people homed! Early January 2020
Quality and First time Fix, Repairs
April 2020
Gas and Fire Safety, Compliance Matters July 2020
Each workshop will focus on a particular service area, encouraging a creative and collaborative approach, ending up with some tangible recommendations for ISHA. The core scrutiny panel is responsible for planning the Resident Action Forums, overseeing the forum on the day and monitoring the implementation of recommendations.
Residents who are involved at the forums will also have an opportunity to make suggestions about further business areas to investigate.
What do I need to do
to take part?
You only need to be an ISHA resident and interested in working with your neighbours and ISHA staff towards a better future.
How long will they take?
Each review will take one full day, we’ll ensure there is lunch and that any reasonable cost is covered.
If you’re interested in participating in one of these days, please register your interest with the team by emailing scrutiny@isha.co.uk or call Aaron Dohnt on 0300 131 7300. The sessions have limited positions available,
so please register quickly. Dates for future sessions will be determined closer to the event.
    Where will
it be held?
A venue will be booked in a central location, with good transport links.
Will this cost
me anything?
Absolutely not, we just need you on the day. Everything else is taken care of.
